See the incredible colours of this year's Venice Carnival

For the whole month of February, Venice’s streets and canals will be taken by storm by people taking part in the Venice Carnival. Celebrations begin the first weekend of the month and last until Ash Wednesday, which in Christian liturgy marks the beginning of Lent.
