The most-famous peak of the Reserve Naturelle de Tamga absolutely dominates the surrounding landscape – supposedly in the same manner great cathedrals dominate their cities, hence the name 'Cathedral of the Rocks'. Climbers looking for a serious challenge take on the 400m-plus cliffs, but mere mortals must be content to look up from below at these towering spires.
