Harbour Grace Airfield

This is the airstrip Amelia Earhart launched from in 1932 when she became the first woman to cross the Atlantic solo. In fact, it may have been the first civil airport in North America. Today the area is a grassy strip, but if you're into aviation history, it shouldn't be missed.
