History of Motorsport Museum

Phillip Island, Australia - December 28, 2016. History of Motorsport display showcases the beginning of Motor sport on Phillip Island from the first car grand prix through to present days.

Located at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, this small museum is dedicated to the history of motorsport on the island. There's a history of the track, where the first Australian Grand Prix – cars, not bikes – was held in 1928, as well as a collection of 24 Grand Prix–winning motorcycles from two famous Italian marques, Aprilia and Cagiva.
