Marktkirche

One of the finest baroque buildings in Paderborn, the Marktkirche was founded by Jesuits and consecrated in 1692. Inside this galleried basilica, your gaze is immediately drawn to the dizzyingly detailed baroque high altar. A soaring symphony of wood and gold, this exact replica of the 17th-century original destroyed in WWII was completed in 2003.
