Shrine of Remembrance

Designed in the Greek Revival style, this graceful monument honours the Australian men and women who have served in conflicts around the world. Its 18 columns symbolise 1918, the end of WWI, while the structure itself is made of prized Queensland sandstone from Helidon, a town to the west of Brisbane.
