Soustan Lagoon

This beautiful wetland area 4km southeast of Lahijan, near the village of Soustan (Sistan), is an important habitat for migratory birds, and is most attractive in the late-afternoon light, when the nearby peaks are mirrored in its waters. You'll need to hire a taxi or leg it to get here.
