St Anne's Shrine

Tool around the loop road hugging the coast, stopping at this Catholic shrine on the site of Fort St Anne, Vermont’s oldest settlement. Though it is welcoming to all, this is a religious place, so be respectful of those who come to pray. The site features a striking granite statue of Samuel de Champlain, and its waterfront has spectacular views and a large picnic area.
