Truffles of Tasmania

The owners of this truffière (truffle plantation) have a 50-hectare stand of evergreen oak and mature deciduous trees that they use to cultivate the prized Tuber melanosporum (black truffle). Book in advance to visit their operation, learn about the truffle-growing process and meet their highly trained truffle-hunting dogs. Preserved and frozen truffles are available to purchase.
