Underwater Observatory

The town of Busselton boasts the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere, at 1.84km. Constructed in 1865, it reopened to the public in early 2011 following a refurbishment. At the shore end is a free and friendly small museum; at the ocean end is the underwater observatory where more than 300 marine species can be viewed at a depth of 8m.
