Wallace Hut

The best local hiking trails around Falls Creek include the walk to Wallace Hut, built in 1889, and said to be the oldest cattleman’s hut in the High Country. It's one of the few historic huts to survive the fires of 2003. It's a 1.5km walk from the car park (45 minutes return).
