About Ryan Ver
Ryan's been writing for Lonely Planet since 1997 and has worked on hundreds of books covering most of the continents. He loves Europe, where he lives much of the year, as well as his native land of California. Ryan's also worked as an investigative journalist, and he's covered everything from wars to bars – he definitely prefers the latter. When not writing about travel, Ryan likes to, well, travel.
